Hi, I’m Marie LaRose

I believe therapy should be a place where people feel safe, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change. As an EMDR-trained therapist and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, I work with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, substance use recovery, and life stressors. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. I integrate evidence-based approaches including EMDR, CBT, ACT, mindfulness, IFS framework, and solution-focused therapy to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, and move toward healing and growth.

Integrity, professionalism, and authenticity are central to my work. I value creating a therapeutic environment that encourages curiosity, self-awareness, and lasting personal growth.

My Approach

I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and supported. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique goals and story. Whether you are seeking support for anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, or substance use recovery support, I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where growth and healing can take place.

My goal is to help you feel empowered, hopeful, and draw on your existing strengths to create the life you want to live.

To me, therapy means staying open, curious, patient, and brave.
